Important Reminders...
Genesis Parent Portal
To access the Genesis Parent Portal, visit the district’s website and click on the Genesis Parent Portal link under the “Parents” section. Use your assigned username and password to log in; if you are new to the district or need login assistance, contact your school’s main office for help. Once logged in, you can view your child’s grades, attendance, and other important information.
ParentSquare
In addition, be sure to sign up for ParentSquare, our primary communication platform for school announcements, event updates, and emergency notifications. Instructions for creating a ParentSquare account are also available on the district website.

Our Health Services team is here to keep every student safe, healthy, and ready to learn. We provide on-site medical care, health screenings, and emergency support, and we work closely with families, teachers, and healthcare providers to manage medical needs and encourage healthy habits.
Quick Information for Parents:
Pre-K through Grade 4: Please visit the Nurse's Office for more information.
Grade 6 - TDap & MMR immunizations are required
Grade 7 – All 7th graders must submit the Athletic Pre-participation Physical Form even if they are not playing a sport.
Sports Participation – A new Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Form is required every year for students who want to join sports.
Medication Forms – If your child takes medication for a medical condition, updated forms must be submitted each year. Without these, students cannot be cleared for sports or attend field trips.

To register for athletics, please log into your Genesis Parent Portal and make sure that you are registered for the school year.
Also, medical clearance is required to participate in athletics, please make sure that all required paperwork is completed prior to the school year starting. Please see below:Leonia Middle School
Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Form
This form needs to be submitted by all 7th graders and students that wish to participate in sports. This form must be renewed every year for sports.
✽ Any doctor completing a Pre-Participation Physical must provide the date that they completed the Cardiac Assessment Professional Development Module. This is a certification that must be obtained by the doctor to be qualified to conduct a sports physical for school. Without the signature and date, the sports physical will be invalid.
✽ Any student that has a medical condition that needs medication such as an Inhaler or an Epi-Pen and does not provide a doctor's order and the medication to school will not be allowed to participate in sports or be allowed to participate in Field Trips.

Leonia Public Schools provides transportation services exclusively for eligible students, including students in out of district placements and those who reside in Edgewater. Bus routes are assigned based on a student’s home address and school placement and are available through Genesis. If you have questions about eligibility, routes, or schedules, please contact the Transportation Office.
