By June 2025, the Board of Education will approve the 2025-2030 District Strategic Plan. This plan will incorporate comprehensive input from the school community, gathered through a structured, year-long process involving multiple feedback opportunities and collaboration with NJSBA facilitators. The district will use these milestones as a proposed schedule:
By June 2025, the district will achieve and maintain a balanced budget, building and sustaining adequate fund balances with reserves aligned to the district's long-term financial plan. These reserves will comply with New Jersey financial guidelines, with regular reviews to ensure ongoing fiscal responsibility and budgetary alignment.
By June 2025, the district will evaluate the current Gifted and Talented offerings and gain a better understanding of the current thinking around enrichment programs. This will include determining the breadth and scope of a comprehensive program, completing a needs assessment, identifying the path forward, and educating the community about the components of a quality district enrichment program.
