Promote health and wellness by providing enhanced opportunities for students and staff,
including food, physical activity, and mental health initiatives,
to support student learning, attendance, and overall well-being.
Objectives & Plans
Objectives:
- Improve districtwide SEL programs to create coherence across the district.
- Use data-driven insights to make real-time adjustments and enhancements.
Steps to Complete:
2025-2026:
- Evaluate and measure Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) program effectiveness across all schools. (Obj. 1)
- Identify any potential SEL gaps between schools/grades/departments, and develop a plan to bridge identified gaps. (Obj. 1)
2026-2027:
- Develop a district-wide SEL implementation plan integrating mindfulness, resilience training, and restorative practices. (Obj. 1)
- Embed mental health support structure into MTSS as tiered intervention. (Obj. 1)
2027-2028:
- Establish clear implementation guidelines and train staff to ensure consistency. (Obj. 1)
- Provide continuous professional development to ensure staff is equipped to sustain and refine the plan. (Obj. 1)
2028-2029:
- Create a monitoring system to track progress and identify areas for improvement. (Obj. 2)
- Conduct regular feedback sessions with students, educators, and parents to assess program effectiveness. (Obj. 2)

- Incorporate built-in FLEX time for intervention and enrichment periods to provide targeted academic support and extension opportunities.
